Located on Via Felice Grossi Gondi, the Hotel Osimar Rome is close to several key transport hubs as well as unique historical, cultural, and scenic attractions. While the Tiburtina Railway Station will quickly transport guests to Termini, Rome’s central station, within walking distance of the hotel itself are historic universities and parks. The 61 bus also runs right past this 3 Star Rome hotel in a route that will bring guests straight to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps – two of Rome’s most popular spots.

While the Tangenziale Est highway is situated close to the Osimar Hotel, our location on Via Felice Grossi Gondi puts this charming Rome accommodation just as close to the peaceful residential area of Viale XXI Aprile. Osimar Rome is also a mere ten minutes from Piazza Bologna and the Bologna Metro stop (line B) and fifteen minutes from the Tiburtina Metro stop (line B). Guests have the option of utilizing the numerous bus, Metro, and rail routes to get around and in and out of the city as well as walking and exploring on their own.

Located just north of this 3 Star Rome hotel is Villa Ada, one of Rome’s largest parks and the former hunting grounds of the Savoy dynasty (the reigning royal house of Italy from the mid-1800s to 1946). Walking and jogging trails snake through fields, small lakes and forests rich with history. South of Villa Ada is the more well-known Villa Borghese, Rome’s second largest park, where a veritable wealth of flourishing gardens and historic buildings can be found. The verdant and luxuriant scenery of Villa Borghese is incomparable with other naturalistically decorated areas, and the added benefit of the Borghese Gallery with its collection of Caravaggio and Titian masterpieces only enhances its distinction as a significant Rome attraction. Using the interactive map above, you can see that in this same area south of the Hotel Osimar is the University of Rome La Sapienza – the oldest public university in Rome and the largest one in Europe. Our Real Time Booking System will allow you to check availability at this 3 Star accommodation with its central location in Rome immediately.

How to get here

A taxi from Termini Station to the Rome Hotel Osimar should cost no more than about €10 before 10 pm or €15 after 10 pm. Those wishing to pay even less can take the railway to Tiburtina Station or the Metro to Bologna (on line B) – both stops are within a few minutes’ walking distance of the hotel. Both Fiumcino and Ciampino airports are well connected to the stations.

From Tiburtina, walk up the Tangenziale Est or Circonvallazione Nomentana and turn left at Via Oreste Tommasini then right onto Via Cesare Rasponti, and the Rome Hotel Osimar is on the left near the corner of Rasponti and Via Felice Grossi Gondi. From Piazza Bologna, walk up Viale 21 Aprile to reach the hotel. Take a right onto Via Guiseppe Marchi then right again onto Via Felice Grossi-Grondi.

Our address is Via Felice Grossi Gondi 87.
